What is Freshman Night Out?

Shortly after the fall semester begins, Freshman Night Out provides each undergraduate college with an opportunity to meet with new students in a casual setting. A&M-Kingsville is committed to helping students develop positive relationships with faculty, staff and other students and each Night Out activity is designed to help new students begin this important process. Goals for this program include:
  • Develop student awareness of expectations for learning and excellence in his/her college
  • Introduce college-specific programs and services to new students
  • Begin the process of developing positive relationships among faculty, staff, continuing students and new students
  • Have fun!

Locations for each Freshman Night Out are as follows:

  • Dick & Mary Lewis Kleberg College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Human Sciences
  • College of Arts & Sciences
  • College of Business Administration
  • College of Education
  • Frank H. Dotterweich College of Engineering

Information will be shared by 1201 College Success Seminar instructors about our Freshman Night Out program during the first two weeks of class. See you there!
